• Export each minute of MP3 into separate WAV

  This is definitely a strange question but I'm looking for a way to split an mp3 mix of 60 minutes into 60 separate 1 minute long wav files to use with an audio fingerprinting API like Echonest.

  Is this possible in a single ffmpeg command or would I have to run multiple iterations of ffmpeg with a the following values :

  -ss is the startpoint in seconds.
   t is the duration in seconds.

  I want to split one video up into multiple parts based on detecting the first frame of each shot, by select scene in ffmpeg.

  The following entry records the scene frames and creates a photo mosaic out of them. This indicates to me that the select portion is functional, but I want to use this to create many separate videos, each scene it's own video file.

  ffmpeg -i video.mpg -vf select='gt(scene\,0.2331)','scale=320x240,tile=1x100' -frames:v preview.png

  Thank you. I think I am close, and I am open to any solution.

• ffmpeg : Combine/merge multiple mp4 videos - not working

  Here is the command I am using to combine multiple videos :

  ffmpeg -i 75_540_38HQ2.mp4 -i 76_70_20.mp4 -i 76_173_80.mp4 -i 81_186_35.mp4 -vcodec copy -acodec copy Mux1.mp4

  The resulting Mux1.mp4 does not contain all videos. Only the first video (75_540_38HQ2.mp4). The file size of the source and resulting video is below (as you can see, resulting video is slightly larger than first vid) :

  Am I doing something blindingly stupid here ?

  The source videos came from a video camera, and are small snippets taken with ffmpeg -i bigfile.mp4 -ss 20 -t 10 -vcodec copy etc..

  Edit : couldn’t solve it so I just use avidemux GUI tool. It seemed to append the MP4’s just fine.

  Must be a problem with MP4’s or just the ones that come off a gopro camera.
