    La gestion de la ferme passe par l’exécution à intervalle régulier de plusieurs tâches répétitives dites Cron.

    With the following data :

    Sample 1 :
    vcodec : H263
    Duration : 4seconds
    Resolution:1288/720
    FR : 30fps/s
    datarate : 195.135 kB/s
    MP3 : 44HZ, 16bits

    Size file : 5.84MB.

    Sample 2 :
    vcodec : H263
    Duration : 4seconds
    Resolution:640/480
    FR : 30fps/s
    datarate : 195.135 kB/s
    MP3 : 44HZ, 16bits

    Size file = 3.34MB.

    Both in flv container.

    Aren't those sizes a little bit high for 4 second video ?

    I believe we are doing some kind of error or missing an optimization.
    Should we decrease the datarate ?
    Maybe we are missing some option for h263 encoding with FFMPEG ?.

    Note : no, we "can not" use h264. :-)

  • Accessing internal encoder in pinnacle/Final cut pro through command prompt

    I want to transcode video chunk from mpeg-2 to hevc in either pinnacle or final cut pro. How can this transcoding be done from command prompt(i.e. through command line). It seems they have only windowed interface but I want to use their internal encoder through command line. So is it possible ?

  • FFmpeg concatenation, no Audio in Final Output

    I have the following command working in ffmpeg, which adds 1 second of a black frame to the beginning of the video. However, I lose the audio from the original video in the output video. How can I adjust the command to make sure the original audio stays with the final output, or better yet, there is 1 second of "blank" audio at the beginning so it matches the new output video.

    ffmpeg -i originalvideo -f lavfi -i color=c=black:s=1920x1080:r=25:sar=1/1 -filter_complex "[0:v] setpts=PTS-STARTPTS [main]; [1:v] trim=end=1,setpts=PTS-STARTPTS [pre]; [pre][main] concat=n=2:v=1:a=0 [out]" -map "[out]" finaloutputvideo.mp4
