    The zip file provided here only contains the sources of MediaSPIP in its standalone version.

  • Multilang : améliorer l’interface pour les blocs multilingues

    Multilang est un plugin supplémentaire qui n’est pas activé par défaut lors de l’initialisation de MediaSPIP.
    Après son activation, une préconfiguration est mise en place automatiquement par MediaSPIP init permettant à la nouvelle fonctionnalité d’être automatiquement opérationnelle. Il n’est donc pas obligatoire de passer par une étape de configuration pour cela.

  • Open source media server for web service.

    I am currently building a website where users can listen to music, and watch videos. However, I am worried about the media content(music/videos) being downloaded from the website(I initially stuck to the HTML5 video/audio tags), I did a little research and found that my best option to prevent this was by using a media server, I have search for free open source media servers to use, but none seem promising. I thought my best bet was ffmpeg, but I am scared to use it as there it seems to be no longer maintained. Does anyone know of any good media servers out there I could use ?

    I am trying to develop a live-streaming application like the meerkat app, where user A can broadcast a live stream while other users are able to watch it. I am having trouble understanding the architecture and mechanisms used to upload video to a server. Currently, I am using a dedicated server with FFMPEG installed on it. I also know FFServer can be used to perform RTSP communication, but I am still unclear how to do this. Can anyone guide me on this ?

    I would like to know how to upload videos to a server or whether there is another way to perform a live stream. Open source frameworks are welcome.
