    Le problème du podcasting est à nouveau un problème révélateur de la normalisation des transports de données sur Internet.
    Deux formats intéressants existent : Celui développé par Apple, très axé sur l’utilisation d’iTunes dont la SPEC est ici ; Le format "Media RSS Module" qui est plus "libre" notamment soutenu par Yahoo et le logiciel Miro ;

  • How can I convert a mp4 into an ogv with ffmpeg ? I am getting a "segmentation fault"

    8 mars 2020, par xrainbowuk

    I am trying to use ffmpeg to convert a mp4 video into an ogv and a webm. I am using a Mac and this is what I am putting into the terminal :

    ffmpeg -i "Hands-typing-(mobile-1080p-loop) copy.mp4" -codec:v libtheora -codec:a libvorbis -f ogv output.ogv

    This is what I am getting in response :

  • Passing arguments to Powershells Call Operatore - I can't get it to work

    2 janvier 2020, par morgola22

    For some reason I cannot get even the most simple Ffmpeg case to work :

    $pathToFfmpeg = "PathToFfmpeg\ffmpeg.exe"
    $video = "PathToVideoFile\video.mp4"
    $param = "--i $video", "output.avi"
    $execute = &$pathToFfmpeg $param

    This should result in the most basic Ffmpeg usage according to Ffmpeg website : ffmpeg -i input.mp4 output.avi.
    However all I receive is :

    So it seems I am doing something wrong. Anybody knows how I get this to work ? I have tried different methods to create the params array and checked with EchoArgs.exe, but no avail. I am out of ideas. It looks like Ffmpeg does not recognise what Powershell is passing to it.

    Error after OK/Cancel/Close in camera settings dialog (empty file was created). Also tried without dialog - the same problem :

    [dshow @ 0715de40] Query for IPersistStream failed.
video=Microsoft® LifeCam Studio(TM): I/O error

    I assume that problem at the camera side, but I don't exclude my blindness (didn’t find any examples of saving settings or required command options in the documentation).

    Perhaps there is another way to save / load webcamera properties ?
