Other interesting software
13 avril 2011, parWe don’t claim to be the only ones doing what we do ... and especially not to assert claims to be the best either ... What we do, we just try to do it well and getting better ...
The following list represents softwares that tend to be more or less as MediaSPIP or that MediaSPIP tries more or less to do the same, whatever ...
We don’t know them, we didn’t try them, but you can take a peek.

Gestion générale des documents

Pour chaque document mis en ligne il effectue deux opérations successives : la création d’une version supplémentaire qui peut être facilement consultée en ligne tout en laissant l’original téléchargeable dans le cas où le document original ne peut être lu dans un navigateur Internet ; la récupération des métadonnées du document original pour illustrer textuellement le fichier ;

ffmpeg recognises MXF dv but won't encode to h264
6 août 2017, par 3pointeditI have a DV file encoded as an MXF that I want to transcode to h264. Running ffmpeg against the file it reads ok and understands the stream but won’t write the h264 file. It seems to get all the streams correct and I can confirm the attributes of video and audio streams.
I just don’t understand why it won’t encode ? I tried to force a Decoder with -f dv but it complained that the source header was incorrect.

ffmpeg won't recognize x265 options [closed]
29 octobre 2017, par cdppI am trying to use ffmpeg’s built-in
x265
library to process.VOB
files throughh.265
codec.What I understood from the ffmpeg documentation was that :
-c:v libx265
tells ffmpeg to use theh.265
codec for video streams-x265-params
passes options tox265
encoder instead offfmpeg
But whenever try to run the command, ffmpeg doesn’t seem to recognize/pass the options to x265.
It gives the error
Unrecognized option '-y4m'.<br />
Error splitting the argument list: Option not foundWhy is this ?
Here’s the command (edited spacing) :
C:\ffmpeg (20170123-e371f03-win64-static)\bin>

Android - Decoding via a pipe will not work : Could not find an ffmpeg binary for your system
28 août 2017, par DanieleI’m trying to use TarsosDSP for real time pitch shifting on Android.
This is my code :
Uri song;
// initialized in another method
double rate = 1.0;
RateTransposer rateTransposer;
AudioDispatcher dispatcher;
WaveformSimilarityBasedOverlapAdd wsola;
dispatcher = AudioDispatcherFactory.fromPipe(getRealPathFromUri(song), 44100, 5000, 2500);
rateTransposer = new RateTransposer(rate);
wsola = new WaveformSimilarityBasedOverlapAdd(WaveformSimilarityBasedOverlapAdd.Parameters
.musicDefaults(rate, 44100));
wsola.setDispatcher(dispatcher);
dispatcher.addAudioProcessor(wsola);
dispatcher.addAudioProcessor(rateTransposer);
dispatcher.addAudioProcessor(new AndroidAudioPlayer(dispatcher.getFormat()));
dispatcher.setZeroPadFirstBuffer(true);
dispatcher.setZeroPadLastBuffer(true);I get an error here
dispatcher = AudioDispatcherFactory.fromPipe(getRealPathFromUri(song), 44100, 5000, 2500);
Decoding via a pipe will not work : Could not find an ffmpeg binary for
your systemWhy does this happen and how should I fix it ?
EDIT :
As far as I was able to understand it’s because ffmpeg isn’t integrated within the app. I looked for a guide here on SO but I couldn’t find any updated one. Using NDK r15c and FFmpeg 3.3.3
