FFMPEG to command not working as i intend [closed]
11 mai 2023, par KillerHaseTVI want to cut my video by using timestamps. I have a txt file with my timestamps and I put them in the correct variables. For example, $startzeit = 00:00:01 and $endzeit = 00:00:10. So, I want :01 -> :10 and not :01 and run for 10 seconds until :11.

The problem has something to do with "-to" because the timestamps are correct.

Here is my code

$segment = 0
$pathtxt = "D:\Streamshit\Stream\Videos schneiden\timestamps.txt"
$pathvideo = "D:\Streamshit\Stream\Videos schneiden\2023-05-04_18-59-45.mkv"
$zeile = (Get-Content -LiteralPath $pathtxt).Length
$segment_list = @(Get-Content -LiteralPath $Pathtxt)

while($segment -lt $zeile){

 $timestamp = $segment_list[$segment].split(",")
 $startzeit = $timestamp[0]
 $endzeit = $timestamp[1]
 $TEST = "D:\Streamshit\Stream\Videos schneiden\Clips\video$segment.mp4"
 $segment++
 ffmpeg -ss $startzeit -i $pathvideo -to $endzeit -c copy $TEST
}

and here are my timestamps :

00:00:01,00:00:10
00:00:24,00:00:41
00:01:29,00:01:42
00:02:19,00:02:46

00:08:38,00:08:42
00:10:05,00:10:14
00:12:07,00:14:47
00:16:59,00:17:20
00:26:31,00:27:00
00:34:36,00:36:56
00:39:01,00:39:21
00:46:32,00:46:53
00:48:00,00:48:58
00:51:11,00:52:01

01:15:13,01:19:03
01:19:14,01:19:23
01:23:49,01:24:06
01:24:23,01:24:50
01:25:13,01:26:10
01:26:45,01:26:56
01:29:08,01:29:29
01:31:54,01:32:10
01:36:32,01:37:41
01:39:37,01:39:53
01:55:30,01:56:02
02:13:07,02:13:44
03:12:19,03:12:50

I already tried it with just -t which is normally doing what my code is doing and -to should do what I want, but it doesn't.

FFmpegKit : "Operation not permitted" in many android devices [closed]
26 août 2023, par MrmI'm using FFmpegKit 5.1.LTS in my application. A lot of my users have reported that they cannot edit videos (10%). When I tried to obtain their logs, I noticed that many of them are encountering an 'Operation not permitted' error. My users have granted all the necessary storage permissions (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE).

Here is an example :

User device :

Manufacturer : Sony

Model : SOG05

ABI : [arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, armeabi]

Android SDK : 33

Command :

ffmpeg -y -ss 12.789 -to 32.654 -i "/storage/emulated/0/Movies/lts/lts_20230824_100739.mp4" -filter_complex "[0:v:0] scale=1080:2520,setsar=1/1[v0];[0:a:0]atempo=1.0,volume=1.0[a0]; [v0] [a0] concat=n=1:v=1:a=1[conv][cona];[conv] drawtext=fontfile=/system/fonts/Roboto-Regular.ttf:text=lts edit:x=(w-text_w-69.55932):y=(h-text_h-36.61017):fontsize=84:fontcolor=white:shadowcolor=black:shadowx=5.4915257:shadowy=5.4915257[conv]" -map "[conv]" -map "[cona]" -c:v libx264 -force_key_frames 'expr:gte(t,n_forced*1)' -preset ultrafast -r 30 -shortest /storage/emulated/0/Movies/lts/lts_20230826_092915_edited.mp4

Why ffmpeg hangs encoding a void audio track ?
23 août 2023, par SkizZOI've googled an entire day experimenting all possible solutions, but noone had worked.
I have 2 HIK dvr (one is prehistoric vith analogic video). I've made a bash script to retrieve X seconds (as input) of the DVR stored videos (it cut seconds if video ends early) ; also record X seconds of Live view (used for saving Motion Alert in Home assistant).

All works well, BUT i have some issues, and the big one is that when the video has no audio, the download hangs at 9.96 seconds for the old device, and 9.97sec for the new (damn !).

Now let's look at the commands and the logs.

Command : this works with cams with audio, but hangs if cam has an audio silent track ?

makejob=$(ffmpeg -fflags +genpts -y -ac 1 -channel_layout mono -rtsp_transport tcp -hide_banner -loglevel info -err_detect ignore_err -i "rtsp://$user:$dvrpasswd@$dvraddress:554/ISAPI/streaming/tracks/${camnumber}01?starttime=$starttime&endtime=$endTime" -map 0:v -map 0:a? -ar 44100 -filter:a "volume=$volume" -t $seconds -acodec aac -vcodec copy $filepathname)

(A) result Cam with audio : errors too, but works recording both video and audio

I suppose it's due to the missing timestamps. Note that also when there is no audio, there is an audio track in the video. It hangs when trying to encode that void track.

(i will comment with logs where no audio is recorded, it works with some errors... maybe other useful infos are there)
