  • Automated installation script of MediaSPIP

    To overcome the difficulties mainly due to the installation of server side software dependencies, an "all-in-one" installation script written in bash was created to facilitate this step on a server with a compatible Linux distribution.
    You must have access to your server via SSH and a root account to use it, which will install the dependencies. Contact your provider if you do not have that.

    Ce script est écrit en bash. Il est donc facilement utilisable sur n’importe quel serveur.
    Il n’est compatible qu’avec une liste de distributions précises (voir Liste des distributions compatibles).

    Dixit Wikipedia, XMP signifie :
    Extensible Metadata Platform ou XMP est un format de métadonnées basé sur XML utilisé dans les applications PDF, de photographie et de graphisme. Il a été lancé par Adobe Systems en avril 2001 en étant intégré à la version 5.0 d’Adobe Acrobat.
    Étant basé sur XML, il gère un ensemble de tags dynamiques pour l’utilisation dans le cadre du Web sémantique.

    GPAC, http://gpac.wp.mines-telecom.fr/, can be used to do video segmentation along with MPEG-DASH spec. One type of results is a combination of init files (ex, init.mp4) and several roughly fixed-duration segments (ex, segment-%d.m4s). What if I just got those results and I like to reverse/combine them back to one full source.mp4 file ? Can I use GPAC or ffmpeg for this ?

  • calculate the real duration time of a broken movie with ffmpeg/ffprobe

    I have a broken video file that its ffprobe (ffprobe -i movie.mkv) say its duration is about 2 hours, but the file contains only video data for first 8minutes (check by VLC Player).

    How can i get the real duration (8minutes) using ffmpeg or ffprobe ?

    Changed Paths :
     Modify /vp9/encoder/vp9_speed_features.c



    Allow full RD TX size search for GF/ALT at speed 2

    For speed 3 and above, such search is only allowed at speed 3.
    The change helped cif and stdhd set by 1.2% and .7% in compression,
    but increased the encoding time by around 5%.
