• How to show Images from a video as preview for playlist

  You guys Have seen Youtube right. There while you are watching a video, You will also get related videos preview alongwith link. So how we can get it from video itself.. Is it possible to do so.. I am able to get the url from database and display it.. and when the link is clicked it will be played in a jquery player.. So before that a preview of that or you can say playlist of that will be available for user.

  I have updated my code with a link I found.. But still I am not able to get the Image from Video.. Is there anything wrong in my code.. Please correct me if I am wrong..

  Please note : I am not concentrating on you tube videos. I am questioning regarding the videos which I store in server side folder. So if there is any jquery technique or any sort of technique to do this then please let me know. :)

• ffmpeg loop not working keeps dropping frames after first loop

  I did try out to make it work but got this error , i am new in this universe so i am asking for help. (drop frames after the first loop (as the timestamp will suddenly go back in time).)

  [flv @ 0x117a2f0] Video codec rawvideo not compatible with flv
  
      Could not write header for output file #0 (incorrect codec parameters ?): Function not implemented

  My code now as i try to loop it, it stops after first loop, drops the frames...

  ffmpeg -f alsa -i default -f lavfi -re -fflags +genpts -i "movie=/home/pi/Documents/Youtube/video.mp4:loop=0, setpts=N/(FRAME_RATE*TB)" -c:v copy -c:a aac -f flv -max_muxing_queue_size 400 rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2/pfjd-jhjs-k3td-XXXX

  Code that i used before i tried to fix the loop issue but no other errors was :

  ffmpeg -re -stream_loop -1 -f alsa -i default -i /home/pi/Documents/Youtube/video.mp4 -c:v copy -c:a aac -f flv -max_muxing_queue_size 400 rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2/pfjd-jhjs-k3td-XXXX

  Anyone can help me also to get it looping ? PS : i am streaming the video file in a combo with the desktop audio (as i play songs in QMMP for kids (kids radio project))

• FFMPEG DASH - Live Streaming a Sequence of MP3 Clips

  I am attempting to create a online radio application using FFMPEG - an audio only DASH stream.

  I have a directory of mp3 clips (all of the same bitrate and sample size) which I am encoding to the AAC format and outputting to a mpd.

  This is the current command I am working with to stream a single mp3 file :

  ffmpeg -re -i <input />.mp3 -c:a aac -use_timeline 1 -use_template 1 -window_size 5 -f dash <out>.mpd

  (Input and output paths have been substituted for < input >.mp3 and < output >.mpd in this snippet)

  I am running a web server and have made the mpd accessible on it. I am testing the stream using VLC player at the moment.

  The problem :
  Well, the command works, but it will only work for one clip at a time. Once the next command is run immediately proceeding the completion of the first, VLC player will halt and I need to refresh the player to continue.

  I’m aiming for an uninterrupted stream wherein the clips play in sequence.
  I imagine the problem is that a new mpd is being created with no reference to the previous one, and what I ought to be doing is appending segments to the existing mpd - but I don’t know how to do that using FFMPEG.

  The question : Is there such a command to append segments to a previously existing mpd file in FFMPEG ? or am I coming at this problem all wrong ? Perhaps I should be using FFMPEG to format the clips into these segments, but then adjusting the mpd file manually.

  Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated !
