  • FFmpeg convert .mov to .ogv

24 juillet 2016, par Morten Hauberg

I have some troubles converting my .mov to a .ogg file using FFmpeg.

This command should work, right ?

    ffmpeg -i test.mov -s 640x320 -vcodec libtheora -acodec libvorbis out.ogv

    It gives me this output

    It seems right, right ?

But the movie is only about 1 second long.
    Why is that ?

I do not have access to ffmpeg2theora, so please dont suggest that :)

  • New builds for PHP 5.4 and PHP 5.3

29 novembre 2012, par Mikko Koppanen — Imagick

It’s been a while since I last updated this blog (September 2009 to be exact). Time flies ! Anyway, here comes the actual content : updated imagick binaries for PHP 5.3 and PHP 5.4. The download package also includes ImageMagick 6.8.0 binaries compiled with VC9 (Visual Studio 2008). I noticed that the official ImageMagick builds are now Visual Studio 2010 and that wouldn’t work well with PHP compiled with 2008.

I am not sure if I am violating any license in distributing ImageMagick binaries but if I do, please let me know and I will remove them. The binaries are just stock ImageMagick 6.8.0, which you can download from http://imagemagick.org/.

In order to get things running you should add the ImageMagick DLL directory into PATH, add the imagick extension to php.ini and things should be running. At least hopefully.

The download link for the binaries is here : imagick-php54-php53.tgz.

  • Drupal 7 audioconverter module failed - libavcodec52 - which codec for Debian squeeze ?

    7 décembre 2012, par Meggy

    I am using the audioconverter module with the audiorecorderfield module in Drupal 7. Though it was working previously, I just recently noticed that the audioconverter module has stopped converting wav files to mp3. Here's the error in my logs ;

It seems similar to the fixed issue posted by tinny here http://drupal.org/node/1818308 but I have libavcodec52 installed and I'm still getting these errors.

I can see the wav file is created by the audiorecorder module but the audioconverter module is failing on the conversion.

Does anyone know which codec I should use in Debian 6 Squeeze ?
