    L’outil MédiaSPIP traite aussi les média transférés par la voie FTP. Si vous préférez déposer par cette voie, récupérez les identifiants d’accès vers votre site MédiaSPIP et utilisez votre client FTP favori.
    Vous trouverez dès le départ les dossiers suivants dans votre espace FTP : config/ : dossier de configuration du site IMG/ : dossier des média déjà traités et en ligne sur le site local/ : répertoire cache du site web themes/ : les thèmes ou les feuilles de style personnalisées tmp/ : dossier de travail (...)

  • FFMPEG Drag and Drop sh file

    On Windows I have a simple batch file which I drop video files onto to convert to webms, it saves a lot of time as I prefer to just use the same configuration and don't care much about the names.

    I know the .bat file won't really work in Linux (I'm on pop os so pretty much Ubuntu) so with the other lines removed and the %1 changed to $1 it works. It won't do anything if I try dragging and dropping a video file onto it though.

    


    I can type sudo then drag and drop the .sh file followed by a video into a terminal and press enter and it will have the same effect as dragging a video file onto a bat file in Windows.

    


    Is there a way to recreate dragging and dropping a file directly onto another and it executing in Linux or is the terminal the only way ?

    


  • Anyway to play/convert/fix 10mb-50mb avi files that ffprobe shows has duration 0.0000 ?

    Run into a problem at work, we are getting some of the AVI files being secure ftp to our servers straight from our hardware creating the AVI files are not playing.

    In doing some research using ffprobe we have found that even though there is data in the files (10mb-80mb+ file sizes) the header is showing a duration of 0.

    We have tried using both MEncoder and FFMPEG to try and re-encode/convert/fix the files, but both stop almost immediately saying the fps is nan. Nothing seems to be working.

    Can anyone give us some ideas on how to fix the files ?

  • How do you get ffmpeg to convert a video, parse its thumbnail and then pass it back to Elgg in the file upload function ? [closed]

    I know my question is very specific, but I'm using the social media base (with WAMP) Elgg to create a Flash-based video sharing site for older browsers and computers and I was wondering how does one set up ffmpeg and Elgg in tandem so Elgg gets both a thumbnail and a video converted to FLV from an MP4 file someone uploads from their computer.

    


    I'm using Elgg 1.9 and ffmpeg-20130314.

    


    I couldn't figure out how to inject ffmpeg into Elgg so I tried duplicating the upload form so it had two file upload buttons (second one for thumbnail image) but this broke the site and made a blank undeletable video.
