  • Multilang : améliorer l’interface pour les blocs multilingues

    Multilang est un plugin supplémentaire qui n’est pas activé par défaut lors de l’initialisation de MediaSPIP.
    Après son activation, une préconfiguration est mise en place automatiquement par MediaSPIP init permettant à la nouvelle fonctionnalité d’être automatiquement opérationnelle. Il n’est donc pas obligatoire de passer par une étape de configuration pour cela.

  • ffmpeg startup latency for live streams

    When we open a live stream with ffmpeg or ffplay it waits for a while and then starts to play. I should decrease this initial latency as possible. However, when I process live stream I ignore all video frames since I am working only audio data. My question is that, due to ignoring video frames, does it compensate initial latency so I can process audio of live stream in real time almost with no latency ?

    i have added following x-key line to my m3u8 file for encryption. Because there will be continuously created new files and old files will be overwritten, encryption is not working. Each help will be highest appreciated

  • Red5 live stream - huge delay on localhost

    I m running Red5 1.0.0 RC1, with JW Player and ffmpeg on Linux Mint14

    There is a huge delay while streaming, even when everythings happening on my machine/localhost.

    I do following steps :

    1. FFmpeg : ffmpeg -i 'http://localhost:port' rtmp://localhost/oflaDemo/live.flv

    2. Red5 : TCPnoDelay ist set to true.

    3. JW Player : Bufferlength is set to 0. Also tried 2 and 3.

    The delay is something between 7-10 seconds !
    This all is happening on and from localhost, so bandwith shouldnt be the issue.
