libav converted audio file distorted
23 juillet 2015, par C0dRI am trying to implement a file converter using libav. Currently I am testing just the audio convertion (for example aac input and mp3 output). I am using the code from this question Conversion from mp3 to aac/mp4 container (FFmpeg/c++) but the resulting output file sounds corrupted (too slow, noisy, distorted).
This is the result from converting AAC to mp3. AAC input format is AV_SAMPLE_FMT_FLTP and mp3 output format is AV_SAMPLE_FMT_S16P. It looks like part of the one channel is inverted on the other channel ?I am using avresample to convert the audio data. I just cant find out what is wrong, i already looked through the examples but as i can see i am doing it just like in the examples.
Here is my converter class :http://pastebin.com/c6hvrRaM (.h)
http://pastebin.com/u6iAPHZ9 (.cpp)
I know this is pretty much but I am desperated...

Is there a Heroku-supported method for getting the length of an audio file in seconds ?
12 juillet 2013, par Ben WestI'm trying to implement
http://blog.firmhouse.com/validate-length-of-an-audio-file-when-using-paperclip-and-s3
But I'm unsure what gem provided FFMpegWrapper, and I'd like to use Heroku to deploy my app for testing. Does heroku support something that will work for this ?

Announcing Dreamroq
20 mars 2011, par Multimedia Mike — Sega DreamcastI have pushed the first public version of my new Dreamroq (we open source types are just so creative in our naming schemes) library up to Github :
https://github.com/multimediamike/dreamroq
To review, this is a library for playing RoQ video files on the Sega Dreamcast. It has a lot of problems right now, many of which are listed in the README file. It comes with a Dreamcast/KOS sample player. It also comes with a simple Unix testing utility which decodes a file to a series of PNM files. If anyone is interested in debugging RoQ again after all these years that it has been supported in other open source programs, there is still a bug in the video decoder that produces some notable artifacts.
Also, here are some samples I generated that appear to meet the data rate requirements laid out in this post. These samples are based on this sample media set from Xiph.org.
