  • Configuration spécifique d’Apache

    Modules spécifiques
    Pour la configuration d’Apache, il est conseillé d’activer certains modules non spécifiques à MediaSPIP, mais permettant d’améliorer les performances : mod_deflate et mod_headers pour compresser automatiquement via Apache les pages. Cf ce tutoriel ; mode_expires pour gérer correctement l’expiration des hits. Cf ce tutoriel ;
    Il est également conseillé d’ajouter la prise en charge par apache du mime-type pour les fichiers WebM comme indiqué dans ce tutoriel.

    PHP et safe_mode activé
    Une des principales sources de problèmes relève de la configuration de PHP et notamment de l’activation du safe_mode
    La solution consiterait à soit désactiver le safe_mode soit placer le script dans un répertoire accessible par apache pour le site

    In iPhone OS 3, Apple has introduced HTTP Live Streaming which should allow live streaming of video from the internet. I am currently operating a webcam, which feeds into my server, and is then converted into a flv stream by ffmpeg, and streamed back out using ffserver. Does anyone know how to setup a video stream the iPhone can use using ffmpeg and ffserver ? I should be able to re-encode into just about any format on the fly.

    Some converted 3gp video using ffmpeg library, played on iphone and some not played and that all video played on android,blackberry and J2ME without issues.

  • parse 'description' metadata from video created by iphone

    I have a mp4 video created by iphone 5c.
    The video contains ’description’ metadata that can be catched by exiftool.

    But I need parse the info under Android where exiftool seems too big.

    Is there a better solution to parse the metadata, such as ffmpeg, libmp4v2 or something else ?
