    Sur le site principal, une instance de mutualisation est définie par plusieurs choses : Les données dans la table spip_mutus ; Son logo ; Son auteur principal (id_admin dans la table spip_mutus correspondant à un id_auteur de la table spip_auteurs)qui sera le seul à pouvoir créer définitivement l’instance de mutualisation ;

    Par contre, le player de firefox arrive à me lire parfaitement la vidéo (.m4v ou .mp4) si je tape, le lien directe dans le navigateur .../IMG/m4v/echo-hereweare.m4v
    Bizarrement, sur l’IRC certains arrivent à voir les vidéos avec les liens directe et d’autre pas.

    ici avec la derniere beta de firefox ( 45.0b5 ) le player interne de firefox ne peut lire la video, ni en direct ni dans le site.

    le player firefox plante sur :
    thread ’’ panicked at ’Box’, /builds/slave/rel-m-beta-l64_bld-00000000000/build/media/libstagefright/binding/capi.rs:103
    et la console web dit :
    "Media resource http://www.lien-d-amis.net/spip3/spip15/IMG/m4v/echo-hereweare.m4v could not be decoded."

    par contre ca fonctionne si je telecharge la video pour la lire avec mplayer, a mon avis c est un probleme d encodage trop recent ou trop ancien, ou un bug du player interne de firefox, mais probablement pas de spip.

  • Distributing a Python module with ffmpeg dependency

    Rookie software developer here. I’m working on a Python module that harnesses some functionality from the FFmpeg framework - specifically, the ebur128 filter function. Ideally the module will stand on its own as an independent, platform agnostic tool for verifying that audio clips comply with EBU loudness standards. It’s being designed so that end users need only perform one simple, (hopefully !) painless installation procedure, which will encompass the installation of both the FFmpeg libraries and my Python wrapper/GUI.

    I apologize for the rather vague question, but does anyone have general advice for creating Python module with external dependencies, or specific advice for standardizing the FFmpeg installation across platforms ? Distutils seems pretty helpful – are there other guidelines or standard practices for developing a neatly packaged Python tool ? I want to minimize any installation headaches for end users.

  • Want to send a video from desktop to Wowza using ffmpeg

    I am trying to stream a local .mp4 video file from my laptop to Wowza Streaming Engine using ffmpeg. Both systems are able to ping each other. I give the following command on my laptop

    ffmpeg -re -i bunny_1080p_60fps_normal.mp4 -vcodec libx264 -acodec aac -ar 48000 -strict experimental -f flv "rtmp://192.168.1.22:1935/live/myStream"

    192.168.1.22 is the IP address of Wowza server residing on another system running Ubuntu 17.04.
