  • phplondon conference 2008

2 mars 2008, par Mikko Koppanen — Everything else, Imagick, PHP stuff, phplondon08

To summarize it : I had fun :) My conference preparations started about two weeks before the conference. The PHPLondon fellows (Paul, Matt and Richard) asked me to do a small presentation about Imagick at the pre-conference social event. The presentation I assembled ended up being a little over two hours, give or take. The hardest part was to trim down from two hours to about 40 minutes (I didn’t want to bore the people with too many code examples). The slides are available at http://valokuva.org/talks if you need them for some reason.

My conference day was pretty hectic from the beginning to the end. I gave a few demos about the products that we represent and the moment I opened my mouth for the first time people started leaving the room. I hope that it had something to do with the “My Framework is better than yours ?” talk starting at the same time ;)

I met quite a lot of new people at the conference and of course it was nice to see the familiar faces from other conferences and PHPLondon meetings. I was especially happy that I was able to answer the questions Nigel James had ;)

A huge thanks to the organizers for making this day possible !

  • Video recorded with ffmpeg not showing up at all in android (Oneplus 7T)

    15 juin 2021, par ppengy

I'm trying to render a video using a program called "danser", which uses ffmpeg. The video comes out fine, but when I transfer the video to my phone to upload to a social media platform, the phone does not see the video at all. I've used USB and Google Drive to transfer videos. Videos uploaded to Discord show up fine, which I assume is because of compression. I can't use discord to transfer because the video is over 100MB limit. I've also tested it on BlueStacks and it doesn't show up either.

    Running ffmpeg with options: [-y -f rawvideo -vcodec rawvideo -s 1920x1080 -pix_fmt rgb24 -r 60 -i - -vf vflip -profile:v high -preset slow -an -vcodec h264_nvenc -color_range 1 -colorspace 1 -color_trc 1 -color_primaries 1 -movflags +write_colr -pix_fmt yuv420p -rc constqp -qp 18 videos\420eb0fce66c010c71553949ac611eeb.mp4]

Is there anything i can change here that allows for better compatibility ? I can share some video examples too if you request.

  • Android - How to merge the 2 video SIDE by SIDE ? [on hold]

    25 avril 2015, par Lakshmanan

I want merge two video file (Mp4 file) SIDE BY SIDE. I have tried with following option.

    1) FFMPEG - It is just merging one after another.

    2) mp4parser - It is also did the same, I can merge it by one after another.

    3) Tried Screen Capture Android - > I can merge it side by side, But in the Screen Capture i could not get the Audio of the file.

The Purpose of this merging is, I have a main screen, which have some game play, user can touch on some portion of the screen it will play some sound as well as some animation.

I have the Record option in my game screen, So when user click on the record option, I need to record the user face reaction via Front camera as well as the Game Play , So once record is completed I need to play the Game recording as left side and face recording video as right side.

I did this using by saving touch event in the Database and played in left side of the screen at right side I played the video which is recorded by Front Camera.

But i need to share this same video to social media, For this I need as single video. So i can screen capture the Game Play(left side) as video file and also i have the Front camera recorded video. So i need to merge this two video as single video as like its playing in my app to share.

Please let me know is there any way to do this.
