• FFMPEG command (For capturing keyframe) executes, but not creating the output file

  Im trying with an FFMPEG command using the latest FFMPEG exe. The command executes fine. But the output file is not being created.

  Here is the command I tried from DOS prompt. According to a colleagues comment, it was (The command) working before without any trouble.

  So from the output detials it seems to be fine. So why its not creating the output file ? Thanks

• python3.6 ffmpeg call MacOSX

  I’m using Python 3.6 on MacOSX. I would like to use FFmpeg as Python sub-process. Everything works fine when using the OSX embedded Python 2.7 but using 3.6, this doesn’t work.
  I’ve got an error message because it doesn’t find FFmepg.

  As you can se I tried with ffmpy but I also got the same result by invoking FFmpeg directly

  I installed the FFmpeg lib. by using Brew through Terminal. It was well installed but only visible by Python 2.7, not 3.6.

  Calling it from terminal is working :

  I’m not (yet) a Linux specialist but I think that a path is missing for 3.6 to find FFmpeg.
  Any clue to solve this annoying issue ?

• Conditional expressions not working in ffmpeg ?

  I’m having trouble with conditional expressions generating errors in ffmpeg. Here is an example of the problem, which is taken from the ffmpeg documentation for the blend filter :

  If I replace the all_expr argument to something that doesn’t include a conditional expression (such as A*0.5+B*0.5) the blend filter does what it’s supposed to, without any errors.

  Can anyone tell me what’s going on here ?
