Son avantage principal quant à lui est de bénéficier de la prise en charge native de vidéos dans les navigateur et donc de se passer de l’utilisation de Flash et (...)

  • wrong ELF class error while installing ffmpegthumbnailer

27 mai 2013, par Juneyoung Oh

    I use CentOS 6 86x64.

I am trying to install ffmpegthumbnailer, so I downloaded ffmpegthumbnailer

    from the below link.

    http://pkgs.org/archlinux/archlinux-extra-x86_64/ffmpegthumbnailer-2.0.8-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz.html

I extracted this file and copy to /usr folder.

When I command ffmpegthumbnailer, I got message that I need libavutil52.

    So I downloaded again from

    http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=libavutil.so.52

I choose "ATrpms Stable packages for el6 x86_64".

After this, I got new error message like title.

I thought this message showed up when I installed package for wrong OS,

did I installed wrong package ?

    I need your help, thanks.

    exact error message :

ffmpegthumbnailer: error while loading shared libraries: libavutil.so.52: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32
