    Vous pouvez nous aider à améliorer les locutions utilisées dans le logiciel ou à traduire celui-ci dans n’importe qu’elle nouvelle langue permettant sa diffusion à de nouvelles communautés linguistiques.
    Pour ce faire, on utilise l’interface de traduction de SPIP où l’ensemble des modules de langue de MediaSPIP sont à disposition. ll vous suffit de vous inscrire sur la liste de discussion des traducteurs pour demander plus d’informations.

  • Les statuts des instances de mutualisation

    Pour des raisons de compatibilité générale du plugin de gestion de mutualisations avec les fonctions originales de SPIP, les statuts des instances sont les mêmes que pour tout autre objets (articles...), seuls leurs noms dans l’interface change quelque peu.
    Les différents statuts possibles sont : prepa (demandé) qui correspond à une instance demandée par un utilisateur. Si le site a déjà été créé par le passé, il est passé en mode désactivé. publie (validé) qui correspond à une instance validée par un (...)

    MediaSPIP est basé sur un système de thèmes et de squelettes. Les squelettes définissent le placement des informations dans la page, définissant un usage spécifique de la plateforme, et les thèmes l’habillage graphique général.
    Chacun peut proposer un nouveau thème graphique ou un squelette et le mettre à disposition de la communauté.

  • Why are v0, v1, and v2 of ffmpeg still under active development ? What happened to ppa:jon-severinsson/ffmpeg ?

    I know about the long history of ffmpeg and libav. Personally, I preferred to use Jon Severinsson’s PPA, as suggested in many answers here on stackoverflow or askubuntu. However, recently this PPA seems to have gone down recently (this page, which is the link everyone always gives, is dead). I don’t see if he put up a newer version, although I admit I find launchpad hard to navigate. Did it get replaced with this one from Doug McMahon or this one from Sam Rog ?

    Ok, so maybe I need to download it myself. I visit the releases page for ffmpeg, and there seems to be simultaneous development of releases from v2 (2.6.2), v1 (1.2.12, from February), and v0 (0.10.16, from March of this year). 0.10 isn’t even the newest of the v0 series, and yet it seems to be the most recently updated of that series, and (coincidentally ?) also the version that I most recently got from the PPA. Admittedly this was on a slightly older distribution (Linux Mint 16).

    So, which version should I download, now that the PPA is gone ? Does it depend on the distribution I’m using ?

    They seem to sometimes trigger with old AVI files. They are just
    
confusing, do not help anyone, and use sloppy language.

  • Please help ! Now having sound issues on 14.04

    Please help ! Today I was trying to edit some home video with KDENLive and when I’d try to preview my videos, they’d play for about a second then lock up the program.

    In troubleshooting, I discovered :

    If I reboot the computer, most multimedia files play fine : MP3, MP4, FLV, AVI, WMV, etc. But as soon as I try playing an MPEG-2 file, the video freezes. (Using SMPlayer. With VLC it plays, but has no sound.) After that, I have no sound on any format, though they still play. However, trying to play Flash videos on Facebook then lock up after a second or so, as well.

    If I reboot the computer and go directly to Sound Settings | Test Sound, I get no sound. Then my video files also have no sound (MP3, MP4, etc.), just like when I try playing an MPEG-2.

    Is there some commonality there ? Like, does KDENLive, the Test Sound function, and the MPEG-2 files use FFMPEG or something ? Because it seems like as soon as I execute any of those three things, I’m screwed.

    Are there any diagnostics I can run ? I’m kinda dead in the water on editing our home videos until I find out what happened !
