  • extracting h264 raw video stream from mp4 or flv with ffmpeg generate an invalid stream

    10 octobre 2013, par neo2006

I'm trying to extract the video stream from an mp4 or flv h264 video (youtube video) using ffmpeg. The original video (test.flv) play without trouble with ffplay , ffprobe gives an error as follow :

to get rid of the extra streams ( I only needs the video) I used the following ffmpeg command line :

    ffmpeg -i test.flv -map 0:0 -vcodec copy -an -f h264 test.h264

The new stream is unreadable by any player including ffplay and gives an error with ffprobe :
    test.h264 : Invalid data found when processing inputq= 0B f=0/0

Any body have an idea about what am I doing wrong ?

I also tried simpler youtube command line :

    ffmpeg -i test.flv -vcodec copy -an test.h264

if I use another format (avi for example) :

    ffmpeg -i test.flv -vcodec copy -an test.avi

    the output video is valid.

    If I transcode the video

    ffmpeg -i test.flv -an test.h264

    the output is also valid

    Any suggestions ?

  • FFMPEG on Fedora but PHP Compilation confliction

    11 octobre 2013, par UMI

I have running Xampp with PHP5.5 on Fedora from Apache Friend, with default settings what the installer package do on Linux.

When I install FFMPEG successfully and try to load from php.ini it always says :

    *

11-Oct-2013 14:05:51 Europe/Berlin] PHP Warning:  PHP Startup: ffmpeg: Unable to initialize module
    Module compiled with module API=20060613
    PHP    compiled with module API=20121212
    These options need to match
    in Unknown on line 0

    *

The only thing which is confusing me is that when I did phpize even that I already installed xampp server which means I have PHP running. FFMPEG phpize did not work and I had to install php-devel. Does that mean that FFMPEG is configured with PHP, other than the installed with XAMPP ? I am not sure what is happening. Whatever I do I always receive this error message in php_error_log file.

It is amazing :) that I just run below command to see what version of PHP is, I have and below are the results which are shocking one because I am in a feeling that I have PHP 5.5 installed and running from XAMMP.

    [root@localhost ~]# php -v

Copyright (c) 1997-2008 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2008 Zend Technologies

How can I get this covered that if I simple install XAMPP server on linux and want to install and configure FFMPEG along with ?

  • FFMpeg Concatenation Filters : Stream specifier ':0' in filtergraph matches no streams

7 février 2017, par Anthony Eden

I am developing an application that relies heavily on FFMpeg to perform various transformations on audio files. I am currently testing my FFMpeg configuration on the command line.

I am trying to concatenate multiple audio files which are in different formats (Primarily MP3, MP2 & WAV). I have been using the official TRAC documentation (https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/How%20to%20concatenate%20(join%2C%20merge)%20media%20files#differentcodec) to help me with this and have created the following command :

    ffmpeg -i OHIn.wav -i OHOut.wav -filter_complex '[0:0] [1:0] concat=n=2:a=1 [a]' -map '[a]' output.wav

However, when I run this on Mac OS X using version 2.0.1 of FFMpeg, I get the following error message :

Stream specifier ':0' in filtergraph description [0:0] [1:0] concat=n=2:a=1 [a] matches no streams.

Here is my full output from the terminal :

    ~/ffmpeg -i OHIn.wav -i OHOut.wav -filter_complex '[0:0] [1:0] concat=n=2:a=1 [a]' -map '[a]' output.wav

Stream specifier ':0' in filtergraph description [0:0] [1:0] concat=n=2:a=1 [a] matches no streams.

I do not understand why this does not work. FFMpeg shows that the streams 0:0 and 1:0 exist in the source files. The only other similar problems online have surrounded the use of the single quote in Windows, however testing of this confirm it does not apply to my Mac command line.

Any help would be much appreciated.
