    Les logiciels et librairies suivantes sont utilisées par SPIPmotion d’une manière ou d’une autre.
    Binaires obligatoires FFMpeg : encodeur principal, permet de transcoder presque tous les types de fichiers vidéo et sonores dans les formats lisibles sur Internet. CF ce tutoriel pour son installation ; Oggz-tools : outils d’inspection de fichiers ogg ; Mediainfo : récupération d’informations depuis la plupart des formats vidéos et sonores ;

  • Use ffmpeg on OSX Xcode Project for Mac

    I am planning to create a new app for personal use on my Mac that uses FFMPEG library, to store a feed from a RTSP IP camera.

    Following this official installation procedure from FFMPEG I have manage to successfully achieve the following 2 steps :

    To get ffmpeg for OS X, you first have to install ​Homebrew. If you don’t want to use Homebrew, see the section below.

    Then :
    - brew install automake fdk-aac git lame libass libtool libvorbis
    libvpx \ opus sdl shtool texi2html theora wget x264 xvid yasm

    Question :
    My question here because I am confused, is how to import a library into Xcode so I can use it in the application I am about to build for my Mac. I can see plenty of GitHub projects related to FFMPEG with IOS/Android, but none for OSX.

    All the FFMPEG commands under terminal are working fine, such as converting a video etc.

    I wanted to create an activity that selects a video and then at the click of a button splits the video into parts of 29 seconds each. I tried this code but it didn't work. Here's how I did

    


    FIRSTLY I ADDED THIS DEPENDENCY -

    


    com.arthenica:ffmpeg-kit-video:5.1.LTS


    


    THEN IMPORTED THESE WITHIN MY ACTIVITY

    


    import com.arthenica.ffmpegkit.FFmpegKit;
import com.arthenica.ffmpegkit.FFmpegKitConfig;


    


    AND FINALLY WROTE THIS CODE TO SPLIT THE VIDEO

    


     public void splitVideo() {
                String[] command = {"-i", videoUri.toString(), "-c", "copy", "-f", "segment", "-segment_time", "29", "-reset_timestamps", "1", "-map", "0", "output_%03d.mp4"};
                FFmpegKit.execute(Arrays.toString(command));
            }


    


    but this code is not splitting the selected video. To select video I have different functions and those are working fine. I have a problem with the splitting video using FFmpegKit.

    I cropped a video using ffmpeg command line, the output is black screen, the sound is clear and good :

    ffmpeg -i Original.mp4 -t 00:00:29 -vf "crop=634:300:0:60" Done.mp4

    ffmpeg version :

    ffmpeg version 0.8.17-4:0.8.17-0ubuntu0.12.04.1, Copyright (c) 2000-2014 the Libav developers

    built on Mar 16 2015 13:26:50 with gcc 4.6.3

    video information :

    mediainfo '--Inform=Video;%Width%x%Height%' Original.mp4
    
634x360
