Récupération d’informations sur le site maître à l’installation d’une instance
26 novembre 2010, parUtilité
Sur le site principal, une instance de mutualisation est définie par plusieurs choses : Les données dans la table spip_mutus ; Son logo ; Son auteur principal (id_admin dans la table spip_mutus correspondant à un id_auteur de la table spip_auteurs)qui sera le seul à pouvoir créer définitivement l’instance de mutualisation ;

How do I make youtube-dl or streamlink stop after a certain period of time when downloading a live stream
13 janvier 2020, par Programmer4LifeI’m the unofficial historian for a popular 24/7 live feed. I wrote a script to use streamlink (fork of livestreamer) to download the stream constantly. Then i have a script to upload the captured video to YouTube as unlisted for the stream owner. I use a shell script and have the file names be dates and times.
I’ve also used youtube-dl. For both, The maximum captured time appears to be 6 hours because it’ll stop after that amount of time. To address this, I wrote a script to restart the capture when it stops after sleeping for 30 seconds (safety in case of runaway loop) so this isn’t an issue either.
What i am trying to do is to either set my stream capture (whether it’s youtube-dl or streamlink it doesn’t matter) to stop after a shorter interval, say 2 hours. I could also split up the file into 3 parts but i don’t know if that would require re-encoding. If it does, that’s not an option because all of this is done on a VPS with limited resources.
The reason I am trying to split up the files or capture in a shorter time period is because 6 hours is too dang long to easily navigate a YouTube video. On mobile, trying to seek to a specific time is near impossible. Desktop isn’t much easier because you need to be very precise.

Compiling FFMPEG on CentOS DigitalOcean
29 juillet 2015, par coder_ukI set up a DigitalOcean instance running CentOS 6.5 and successfully followed the guide to compile FFMPEG (https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/CompilationGuide/Centos). Hurrah !
But of course I realised that by default, DigitalOcean creates a root user and so ffmpeg now lives in /root/bin/ffmpeg. Which isn’t ideal because when I want to exec the ffmpeg bin from nginx, I would have to run nginx as root for it to have permission.
Questions ...
1) Long-shot, but presumably if I change the owner of the ffmpeg binary to nginx, it still won’t work, because nginx won’t be able to access the /root folder it is in. Correct ?
2) I could run nginx as root (’user root’). But this seems like a very bad idea. Correct ?
3) Which leaves me with the option of creating a new user, and then compiling ffmpeg into its home folder. But : which user ? EC2 creates ’ec2-user’, so should I make my own equivalent for DO ? But then won’t I have to run nginx as that user, else I’ll run into the same problem ?
Or should I compile ffmpeg into the ’nginx’ home folder, if indeed it has one ? Is that how it is supposed to be done ?
Since compiling ffmpeg takes ages, I don’t want to keep doing it, and the static files all seem very out of date. Thanks

Video and audio stretch calculations in ffmpeg
30 janvier 2017, par garrettlynchI’m doing some extreme slow motion in ffmpeg on a video, both video and audio track, but can’t quite get my calculations correct.
The input video is 00:06:41:00 at 24fps (9624 frames).
I need the output video to be 34:00:00:00 at 24fps (2937600 frames).I tried these for the video and audio :
setpts=305.237*PTS
atempo=0.5, atempo=0.5, atempo=0.5, atempo=0.5, atempo=0.5, atempo=0.5, atempo=0.5, atempo=0.5, atempo=0.807668329177057However the video overshoots by 00:01:19:08 and the audio I’m unsure, on one player it stops somewhere around 8 hours but on another it just continues. What are the correct formulas ?
Also on VLC the video has grey frames between video frames - do I need to interpolate to have continuous video frames ?
