• FFMPeg OS X Lion [closed]

  I've build FFmpeg from source, using this tutorial.

  It is working very well, but I have a problem. I did the compile on OS X 10.8 and when I try to run on OS X 10.7, it fails and the error code says that it isn't built for OS X 10.7.

  Is there any configure parameter that I can specify this ?

  Dernièrement j’avais un site qui faisait monter énormément la charge serveur lors du passage du robot crawler de bing. Il y a pas mal d’articles sur le web qui causent du comportement "chelou" de ce bot et des problèmes de charge qu’il engendre. Perso, j’ai appliqué la règle suivante dans le robots.txt du site et depuis ce jour mon serveur ne se fait plus harceler par ce le bot de Bing (qui avant lançait jusqu’à 7requêtes/seconde) :

  1. calmer ce chacal de bingbot
  2. http://www.bing.com/blogs/site_blogs/b/webmaster/archive/2009/08/10/crawl-delay-and-the-bing-crawler-msnbot.aspx
     User-agent : bingbot
     Crawl-delay : 1

  http://www.lestaxinomes.org/robots.txt

  Cela serait peut être intéressant d’ajouter cette règle au robots.txt de SPIP ?

• FFMPEG - Pipe Different HLS Resolutions to S3

  I’m trying to save all my HLS output files directly to S3. As you can see in the code, I’m saving output files for many different sizes and bitrates. My issue is I can’t figure out how to save the files onto S3. I have managed to get this working on an EC2 instance where I save all the files on the same server, but once I try to use aws cli it fails. I can also get this working if it’s just one resolution.

  I’m guessing it has something to do with piping multiple aws cli commands since I can see it tells me Unknown options:, but I don’t see any other way of doing this.

  Also, I’m using the -progress flag so I can show the transcode progress to the user, can I pipe that directly to S3 as-well ?

  Note, the code below has been formatted to make it readable, it obviously doesn’t look like this when ran on the server.
