  • ffmpeg nvenc_h264 streaming uhd2160 rawvideo. Youtube buffering

23 janvier 2019, par Alex Deroza

I use this batch file for starting my stream :

echo starting transocding from native uhd2160 to fhd format.. Host: YouTube

Stream on YouTube starts fine, and plays with good quality. But stream stops after when "Buffer Health" emptied. And in this situation Youtube says that "Video output low", "YouTube is not receiving enough video to maintain smooth streaming. As such, viewers will experience buffering."

I can’t understand why it happens. Because I’ve a good ISP, and over 30 mbps inet to YT services within 90ms latency to them.

YouTube is not receiving enough video to maintain smooth streaming. As
    such, viewers will experience buffering.

Your encoder is sending data faster than realtime (multipleseconds of
video each second). You must rate limit your livevideo upload to
approximately 1 second of video each second.

The stream’s current bitrate (5730.00 Kbps) is lower than the
recommended bitrate. We recommend that you use a stream bitrate of
    4500 Kbps.

  • Audio alternative to FFmpeg - Core Audio IOS

9 juin 2021, par cs guy

I have been using FFmpeg Android for a music app I'm working on. I built a custom audio engine from stratch with C++ and FFmpeg and it works amazing and it fulfilled all my needs. However, Due to FFmpeg being Lgpl lisence, it seems to me after some researching it is not possible to use a lgpl lisence due to app stores policy. Im not a lawyer or have the money to hire a lawyer for a commercial advise. So I am thinking to replace ffmpeg with another audio decoder, processor library. I am planning to feed the custom decoded data to audio devices through Apples core audio library.

    Here are my needs :

    • Need to decode ogg files
    •

    • Need to encode pcm data as aac file
    •

    • Need to add post process FX to decoded data such as low pass filter etc
    •

So what I am asking for is an answer to one of the following :

    • Could FFmpeg really not be used in app store due to lgpl static linking issues ? (I looked at the most famous apps that use FFmpeg on Android, all of them does not use FFmpeg on IOS)
    •

    • If I were to use another library for FFmpeg what is the best alternative to work with ? Did anyone actually had experienced the same situation that I am in ?
    •

I also tried using AudioKit but it has a critical problem that does not meet with my requirement so I dropped it.

I am looking for advice here. Thanks !

  • Rev. 2.12 - 2013-03-10

    10 mars 2013, par Grandt
    Rev. 2.12 - 2013-03-10
    * Fixed : Decoding of html entities if added to the book metadata.
    Requires added file EPub.HtmlEntities.php
Updated Zip.php to 1.38. Adding new parameter to addFile to force Store.

New files for the EPub rev. 2.50 beta code, adding EPub.NCX.php,
    EPUB.OPF.php and Logger.php
EPub.250.php is a beta version of the new class, splitting out the ncx
and opf to better handle these xml files. Levelling of chapters and
fiels added is supported in these as well, but still pending for the
EPub.250.php itself. I still have to figure out how the h*** I'm going
to do that while retaining backwards compatability.
