• Rtsp streaming on nodejs - Blank screen

  I am currently working on a Node.js project where I need to implement streaming using ffmpeg. However, I am facing an issue with the streaming process, as I am getting an empty blank screen instead of the expected video stream.

  


  Here's a brief overview of what I have done so far on the server-side :

  


  Installed ffmpeg and made sure it is accessible in the environment.
Configured the server-side code for the streaming process.
However, despite these efforts, the stream is not working correctly, and I am unable to see the video stream on the client-side.

  I got no console error when I open index.html but only get blank black screen
  


  


• what does write_back_intra_pred_mode() function from libavcodec do ?

  Bellow is a function from ffmpeg defined in libavcodec/h264.h :

• FFMPEG : Send Email with output after ffmpeg completes

  I have a VPS running Debian 9 GNU/Linux that transcodes mp4 files, because it’s a cheap single-core server it might take several hours. I want to send an email to myself when it completes with the output from ffmpeg.

  I have tried

  (ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -acodec copy -vcodec copy -y output.mp4 >> ffmpeg.log; cat ffmpeg.log) | mail -s "FFMPEG COMPLETE" email@me.net

  But that left me with the email sending immediatly without body.

  (my SMTP client is Unix Sendmail)
