    Comme les documents de type "audio", Mediaspip affiche dans la mesure du possible les vidéos grâce à la balise html5 .
    Un des inconvénients de cette balise est qu’elle n’est pas reconnue correctement par certains navigateurs (Internet Explorer pour ne pas le nommer) et que chaque navigateur ne gère en natif que certains formats de vidéos.

    Pour des raisons de compatibilité générale du plugin de gestion de mutualisations avec les fonctions originales de SPIP, les statuts des instances sont les mêmes que pour tout autre objets (articles...), seuls leurs noms dans l’interface change quelque peu.

    I have new project to do and I need some help to know where to start.
    I have more than 1000 DVR each with 4 channels, I need to be able to do live streaming for multiple clients, and clients could be android,iPhone or windows.
    Now throw searching i tried to check ffserver and ffmpeg but i couldn’t find much references to guide me throw a solution for my problem.
    NOTE : the DVRs streaming with h.264 encoding.

    So Please can anybody help me by guiding me for a start or some good references about this particular issue.

  • live stream desktop to android tablet and delay

    I am trying to live stream the desktop to android tablet. Here is what I did

    1) Capture the screen using the ffmpeg

    ffmpeg -y -f x11grab -s 800x600 -r 20 -i :0 http://x.x.x.x:8090/feed1.ffm

    2) Stream using ffserver

    Here is partial ffserver.conf file

    3) Play the stream on the tablet (Android 4.3) using URL "http://x.x.x.x:8090/test"

    I am able to see the desktop on tablet with few issues
    1) There is around 6 to 8 secs delay in the video
    2) player shows a warning "first frame is no keyframe"

    When I changed the "Format flv" to "Format mpegts" in "ffserver.conf" file the warning is gone. But the delay is still there.

    Is there a way to reduce the delay ?

    Am I using the correct format ?

    I want to achieve at max 2 sec delay for my desktop streaming.

  • Live Audio Streaming with live555

    I am trying to send a MP2 encoded frame via RTSP (live555) from a live source, (microphone). I am using ffmpeg to encode audio stream, and I am sending it overriding FramedSource and for the OnDemandServer I am using MPEG1or2AudioRTPSink.hh and MPEG1or2AudioStreamFramer.hh.

    Now in VLC I get to hear maybe half a second worth of sound and then it just stops... I dont know what I am doing wrong.

    Has anyone experienced this problem before ? Am I doing this right, should I be override a different class ?
