Creating farms of unique websites
13 avril 2011, parMediaSPIP platforms can be installed as a farm, with a single "core" hosted on a dedicated server and used by multiple websites.
This allows (among other things) : implementation costs to be shared between several different projects / individuals rapid deployment of multiple unique sites creation of groups of like-minded sites, making it possible to browse media in a more controlled and selective environment than the major "open" (...) -

ffmpeg - Adding chapters to mp3 : How to create CTOC frame ?
30 mai 2019, par yknivagFollowing this guide and this documentation I am trying to add chapters to an mp3 file using this command :
ffmpeg -i input.mp3 -i ffmetadata.txt -map_metadata 1 -codec copy -id3v2_version 3 output.mp3
The format of
ffmetadata.txt
is lifted straight from the ffmpeg.org site with a[CHAPTER]
section for each chapter.ffmpeg adds the global metadata perfectly well, and creates
CHAP
frames for each chapter with correspondingTIT2
subframes with each chapter title. However noCTOC
(table of contents) frame is created. Because noCTOC
frame is created the iTunes podcast player doesn’t show the "next chapter" button.I have taken an mp3 with known working chapters and used the reverse
ffmpeg
command to extract the metadata to a file inffmetadata
syntax and there is no additional information in that file, no specificCTOC
entries. Yet browsing the metadata from that file does reveal a correctly formattedCTOC
frame present. Is there a specific flag I need to pass to
ffmpeg
to force it to build theCTOC
frame ? Or do I have to include it in the ffmetadata file somehow ?If anyone has done this I’d be very grateful if you would share what works for you.
PS Yes I know there are lots of GUI programs out there that can do this but I need to automate this so I need something that will run in a linux command line.

Livvys-MacBook-Air:~ livvy$I have tried to install ubuntu, - to try and generate a new moov atom for the file by using a working video taken on the same device - it tells me I need to install a JVD, tried that and can’t export the file.
Basically, I do not code and trying to do this off of various google searches.
Is there an easier way to install a moov atom to this video without accidently effing up my computer with faulty code ? Or should I just give up and lose the videos ?Any help appreciated - sorry for lack of knowledge/hopelessness

Why does my webm not work in Unity but others do ?
5 avril 2019, par UserDudeOk Im just trying to play a transparent video in Unity and Im following http://mikebrinkerink.com/2018/04/05/preparing-a-video-with-alpha-channel-for-unity/ and other tutorials.
Ive tried exporting as ProRes 444 with alpha and as Webm VP8, and using terminal ffmpeg commands. Yet when I drop the video into Unity it loads indefinitely and I have to force quit.
My file is this : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RhOvYfeaK1rEaKdlTNcJB9EBpz4xxjvw/view?usp=sharing
And this one that I downloaded works fine : https://simpl.info/videoalpha/video/dancer1.webm
Whats the difference/how can I get mine to work ?
Log :
ffmpeg -i my_clip_with_alpha.avi -vcodec vp8 -acodec libvorbis -pix_fmt yuva420p -metadata:s:v:0 alpha_mode=”1″ -auto-alt-ref 0 my_vp8_clip_with_alpha.webm
as the command (with my clip’s name)
