    Contrairement à beaucoup de logiciels et autres plate-formes modernes de partage de documents, MediaSPIP a l’ambition de gérer un maximum de formats de documents différents qu’ils soient de type : images (png, gif, jpg, bmp et autres...) ; audio (MP3, Ogg, Wav et autres...) ; vidéo (Avi, MP4, Ogv, mpg, mov, wmv et autres...) ; contenu textuel, code ou autres (open office, microsoft office (tableur, présentation), web (html, css), LaTeX, Google Earth) (...)

    Comme les documents de type "audio", Mediaspip affiche dans la mesure du possible les vidéos grâce à la balise html5 .
    Un des inconvénients de cette balise est qu’elle n’est pas reconnue correctement par certains navigateurs (Internet Explorer pour ne pas le nommer) et que chaque navigateur ne gère en natif que certains formats de vidéos.
    Son avantage principal quant à lui est de bénéficier de la prise en charge native de vidéos dans les navigateur et donc de se passer de l’utilisation de Flash et (...)

    I've tried using FFmpegOpusAudio and FFMPEGPCMaudio instead, but it gives the same issue. FFMPEG starts and the green light of the bot in the channel shows, but no audio plays, and then the bot exits the channel when the song should be over and FFMPEG terminates. I've tried streaming the audio and playing from a local file, and the same issue.

    


    and just as a quick checklist of confirmed not the issues : the volume is fine and the permissions are fine and ffmpeg is in environment variables and set up correctly.

    


    any advice would be greatly appreciated

    


  • Stop termux on battery low [closed]

    TL ;DR BELOW

    


    I have a second phone who is converting some mkv files through ffmpeg in termux. But the phone can't get enough charging power from the charger because it uses to much power. So it state is always charging even if it isn't charging. No I want to run in termux a script that hits a kill command when the battery is low. So that it doesn't corrupt my files when shutting down because it just cant survive the night with my battery capacity. Any ideas of achieving this ?

How to run a termux command or script async with a event or looping function so that it kills the process when battery power is low.

    


  • Animated WebP vs MP4. Why is MP4 so light and which is generally better ?

    I ran some tests and all things being equal, mp4 is much lighter than animated WebP's.

    


    I used FFmpeg and here are the results :

    


      

    • Encode to an animated WebP at 25fps with quality at 90% => 2.42 MB

      • 


    • Encode to an mp4 at 25fps with quality at 90% => 392 KB.

      • 


    


    This left me wondering why the heck did I choose WebP as the main format for my web platform. Any idea whether I should ditch the animated WebP's and use mp4 instead with loop HTML tag and no audio ?
